Opinion Peice

Gay marriage has recently become a huge issue recently in the news. Minnesota has become the center of this problem with the new polls coming up. Minnesota hasn’t decided as to wither or not to put gay marriage to the polls. However a lot of Americans have already decided to be undecidedly uncomfortable with this issue. America has become thoroughly split on this issue on one half Americans are for this just because it will end the heated debates once and for all however the other half of Americans are against this completely and that is the side that personally I side the most with. The government should not have to decide how people will live their lives. Although the voters will technically have the last vote on this issue, this is not going to end all the debates going on for gay marriage.

People just want to live their lives with less government influence some Americans that follow this “lazzie Faire” policy will not be quite, and instead of picking up the tough issues that the government should such as the huge debt they are picking on the major issues so that they can avoid health care and debt. This voting in Minnesota is just a ruse it is being used so that the voters will be blamed not the Government however the Government is the biggest contender in this battle. Personally Minnesota should vote to decline putting gay marriage on the ballot. The population should not have to vote how others live their lives. The government should just let people live there life just like all the huge single couples out there.

We should have more focus on how the healthcare and how the debt is being handled and deal with the fore front of these issues after, not to say that they are not important. T      he Government should just stop stepping on the toes of the people to get reactions, and deal with their own issues first.
